PFA Approved Instructor Oath

As a PFA Certified and Approved instructor, I will comply with the following:

Safety: I will provide safe and effective instruction. I will follow progressions with an emphasis on safe and efficient movement and teach safe anatomical positioning. I will always follow the Injury Prevention guidelines listed in the Level 1 Certification course.

Clients: I understand that the pole community is diverse and inclusive and am committed to providing fair and equal treatment to all my clients and participants. I will maintain confidentiality of all client and participant information and establish and maintain clear professional boundaries.

Scope: I have a clear understanding of what is within my scope as a pole fitness professional and when faced with issues or questions outside of my scope, I will refer my clients and participants to more qualified health or medical professionals.

Public Trust: I will uphold and enhance the public trust and appreciation for the pole fitness industry by promoting the many benefits of pole dancing, by complying with all applicable business, employment, and intellectual property laws, by maintaining current First Aid/CPR/AED certification and by endeavoring to stay up to date on the latest pole fitness research and trends.
